Long ago, you were exiled — or rather, forgotten. Now Grace has called you back to a Shattering world in desperate need of a new Elden Lord. This is a self-starter role with minimal onboarding and an extremely steep learning curve.
Responsibilities:
- Traverse a sprawling, hostile open world with zero fast travel until you find a Site of Grace
- Defeat demigods, dragons, and inexplicably difficult optional bosses hiding in basements
- Collect Runes (our proprietary currency/XP system) and reinvest them wisely, or lose them all to a random crab
- Recover Great Runes from fallen demigods and restore them at Divine Towers
- Form alliances or rivalries with a large cast of NPCs, most of whom will die, betray you, or vanish without explanation
- Manage inventory, upgrade gear via Smithing Stones, and interpret cryptic item descriptions as lore
- Ultimately mend the Elden Ring and claim the title of Elden Lord
Qualifications:
- Prior experience with punishing difficulty preferred but not required (you will learn)
- High tolerance for death, repetition, and re-fighting the same boss 40+ times
- Comfortable working with little to no direction or quest markers
- Patience for parrying, rolling, and reading enemy tells
- Ability to remain "maidenless" for extended periods
Compensation:
- Paid in Runes, spirit ashes, and the crushing satisfaction of a boss finally going down
- Great Runes and one (1) Elden Ring, contingent on performance and DLC completion
Compensation: $40,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
